What microphone and software did you use to retrieve the acoustics of your room? Did you place it only in the position that you mix from or did you place it elsewhere as well?
I used a RadioShack digital SPL meter to take the reading, connected to my audio interface via the line out. The meter was balanced precariously on the back of my chair and was pretty much in the same position as my head is for mixing. I didn’t measure from anywhere else.
